A decades-long protectorate is exactly what must be established. It will take at least two generations, maybe more, to de-brainwash the people of Gaza/Palestine. The first place to start is in the schools, where little children are taught to hate Jews and Israel. Before that can happen, though, Hamas, et al, must be annihilated.
