Don Pesci's comprehensive observations of the current state of political affairs continues to address the results of a feckless media at large, more attuned to ratings and politician access than providing information to readers / viewers.

Is it any wonder that even though the likes of Washington Post; Atlantic Monthly and Time having been bailed out by billionaire ownership, they are still not bringing in sufficient revenue to be profitable?

As for Connecticut, under the unimaginative "leadership" of the current Governor, we are now more fully described as a MAGA* state. (* Marijuana; Abortion; Gambling; Alcohol - what could go wrong?).

Ned, having been born on home plate and thinking he hit a home run, COULD have stood up to the union leadership 4 years ago and tried to implement cost efficiencies.

CT once understood the advantages of our unique geography between Boston & NY / NJ to create a sense of opportunity for those that want to create or expand the jobs base. Instead, he wasted his time trying for tolls and TCI. Now, he is coasting in the manner of his gentleman "C" performance of imagery and trite phrases while relying on others to execute. His oft-touted self-image of a small business man undoubtedly relied on the equivalent of Josh or Max (the two staffers he relied upon for answers during Covid press conferences). Even a reliably sycophantic "journalist" in CT has described Lamont as lacking in policy details, relying instead on staffers to do the work.
