State government in Connecticut is missing some dots and failing to connect others. The most obvious dot is that connecting getting and spending. These have always been causally connected. The more state government spends, the more state government must tax its citizens.
Excellent first half of an important article that all CT taxpayers should read, but what happened to the second half? It reads like you got tired and just wanted to wrap it up. I was left asking...What points in Desantis’ speech did Stefanowski not include in his promises? What points in your article did Stefanowski not point out to CT voters? None that are material that I can see (meaning that he hit on all those points - for those confused by the double negative). So what happened? And the answer has nothing to do with Bob or other R candidates. The real question a huge number of CT residents are asking is....What has happened to CT well before November 2022? I know it’s a long answer (much longer than the this article) which is maybe why you needed to stop where you did. But, perhaps you can pick up where you left off and explore that question in follow up newsletters. A lot of people are baffled.
